I tried to pick out a balanced meal without having to make/bake too much on the day of the big party. Most items I made the day before and then made a couple of items the morning of to make a stress free brunch that I could actually enjoy.
1. Cheesy Tater Tot Breakfast Bake
For the cheesy tater tots, I prepped it all together in a casserole dish the night before and then in the morning all I had to do was throw it in the oven. To keep the potatoes warm I transferred them to a chafing dish after they were done cooking in the oven.
2. Maple Candied Bacon
I made these the day before and then in the morning just warmed them in the microwave.
3. Pineapple Wrapped Bacon
Yes, I made two things of bacon. Trust me they ate them both! I also made these the day before and simply warmed them in the microwave.
4. Yogurt Parfait
I prepped this the day before by placing everything in the dishes that you see below and wrapped them up and put them in the fridge for the next day.
5. Pumpkin Pecan Muffins
I made these the day before and kept them wrapped for the party the following day.
6. Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls
OMG can I just say these things are amazing and Vegan (so I could actually eat them)! I baked these the morning of the party after the tater tot potatoes were done using the oven.
7. Donut Fruit Kabobs
This was such a fun idea and looked amazing! I put these together the morning of the party while the tater tots were cooking.
8. Non-Alcoholic Apple Cider Mimosa
It’s not a party without mimosas! The bottle on the left was non-alcoholic apple cider while the bottle on the right was alcoholic champagne. I included strawberry, lemonade, and raspberry juice along with sliced strawberries and raspberries.
9. Rustic Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache
So don’t judge but my cake doesn’t look quite like the one Theresa made at Eat Drink Binge but everyone said it tasted just as good. I know they may have told a little bit of a white lie but sometimes looks can be deceiving. Right?
